What is the date and time of the wedding?
Date is 5/24/2025. Ceremony starts at 5:00pm so come to the venue around 4:30pm.
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal, keeping in mind the venue's outdoor garden setting! A caution for those planning to wear heels: there are old cobblestones that you will be walking on, so please avoid stilettos or other thin heels.
What is the parking situation?
The Maas Building is unfortunately street parking only. As such, we highly recommend using a rideshare app to get to the venue rather than driving yourself. If you do choose to drive, please leave yourself ample time (1 - 1.5 hours) to find parking.
Where should I stay?
We don't recommend booking a stay near the venue. Instead we recommend staying in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood (where we live, and near the Friday night welcome event!), Old City, or other Center City locations. There are great Airbnbs in the area, and the Loews Philadelphia Hotel is another good option with affordable rates. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions about location for your accommodations - navigating Philly's neighborhoods can be confusing.
What's the food situation? Why have you not asked me to make a food selection?
Dinner will be wood fired pizza from Pitruco, made in an oven located right there at the venue (how cool!). We will also have charcuterie, antipasti, and salad. There will be several types of pizza, and you can sample any or all of them!
What is this Friday night welcome event? Who is being welcomed?
Wedding days go by so quickly and we know it'll be tough to spend enough quality time with everyone - so we thought two extra hours would help us do that. Please join us on Friday evening from 7:15pm - 9:15pm for a welcome event at Pub & Kitchen (1946 Lombard Street). We highly recommend eating dinner beforehand as this is a cocktail event - unless you want to fill up on liquids only but maybe you should rethink that choice.
